Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is a Mexican American broadcaster. She is currently employed by ESPN as a news anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. She started working at ESPN in the year 2016. She is a daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta is a native speaker of two languages. Since she was nine, Collins's ability to converse in two languages allowed her to get an employment in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. As an assistant producer she was able to collaborate with national program producers like Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Her next assignment was a Sports Reporter at the CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. Then she moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley, Texas and became a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Her duties as an anchor for sports or weather were regularly demanded. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallasthe affiliate of Univision Dallas, and she has more responsibility. She also did segments on the Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason as well as the Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. She was the producer of Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra and anchored it. She was appointed as the anchor for sports by Despierta America Deportes for their morning show. As a sports anchor, she worked for Primer Impacto (a network magazine) and Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports channel). Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually moved from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. She has a sister. She is the older sister. After a while, her parents separated and in the year 1995, Fabio Fajardo got married again. He died of kidney cancer in the year 2006. The couple stayed with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer in which she was offered a job. Antonietta had just graduated high school, however she knew what she was going to do. In the end, she loved the campus and that they had the major she was looking for. After high school, she graduated and began studying media at the university. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was member of the class, established a lasting relationship with the student. Mark Bergmann inspired her to be self-confident and his passion in journalism was a huge influence on her, and she was determined to live up to his standards and never fail him.
